About me and my practice
Life can throw some challenges at us that we sometimes find overwhelming to deal with on our own. I recognize the courage it takes to seek help and the risk involved in sharing one's innermost thoughts. As an empathetic counselor, my passion lies in helping you navigate the complexities of life. I place great importance in creating a safe environment where you feel safe to be vulnerable, will not be judged but feel heard, supported and validated.
Counselling is a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you and I strive to overcome your difficulties, develop resilience, and achieve self empowerment. I offer you support, warmth, empathy and compassion and be you unbiased companion throughout your life-changing journey.
I am a qualified integrative and trauma informed counsellor with 13 years of professional work in therapy. I have a broad experience helping children, young adults, adults and couples with stress, depression, anxiety, abuse, relationship/family problems and people affected by cancer. I specially trained to offer psychological services to people going through the affects and recovering from substance use, addiction, abuse and trauma. I use different modalities to suit the diversed needs of my clients. I'm trained in Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy, Mediation and Mindfulness.

Play Therapy with The Place2be, 2009 to 2011; counselling and equipping children with tools to deal with their problems
Macmillan Cancer Support, 2010 to 2012;counselling cancer patients and their families
Change Grow Live,2014 to 2016; counselling people who are recovering from drugs and alcohol addiction.
Mediation Plus 2012 to 2018; supporting couples and families settle disputes and make joint decisions that need to be resolved.

Fees
£55 per 50 minutes session.
£25 for students.
£75 couples counselling
I offer low cost counselling to those in low income. This will be means tested and fees are determined by client's affordability.
